Happy Friday friends! 💃🏻 This has been a six-day work week for me so I am ready to curl up and sleep for 72 years. Or five minutes. I’ll take what I can get. 🤷🏻‍♀️ This morning, I woke up and all five in our hive “somehow” ended up in our bed at some point. 🧐 So for today’s #Fridayintroductions, I thought I’d take a minute to reintroduce the bed hogs, I mean my family. 👨🏻That’s Paul, he’s the best daddy around. He has an accounting background and knows how to navigate a spreadsheet. I met him when I was 18 and I was immediately smitten. He’s hilarious. He’s hard-working. He’s a candy addict. 👧🏻She’s Emma, she’s five, fierce, and friendly. She loves pink and sparkles and unicorns and the whole world. She loves with her whole heart and gives the best hugs. She also asks the best questions and likes a good cup of tea with milk. 👦🏻He’s Henry, he’s almost three and could fight an alligator if he wanted. He’s simultaneously the best little snuggler and a swirling tornado of energy. He has the longest eyelashes on the planet, a scream that can break the sound barrier, and says the sweetest little “wuv yous”. 👶🏻The smallest one is Theo, he’s almost eight months. He’ll pull your hair then open mouth kiss you. He’s already proving to be a fearless explorer. He’s never met a puréed root veggie he didn’t like. He loves books, looking at pictures and eating them with equal fervor. 💆🏻‍♀️And hi, I’m Samantha. And I’m loving every minute of this out chaos. But I also need a minute to sleep and occasionally get a massage.
When you’re trying to love the swing but it won’t love you back.
