Paul and I have enjoyed our new happy our {at home} tradition. Last night’s mojitos were incredibly yummy and refreshing!
In a martini shaker or large glass, muddle mint, lime, and simple syrup* for 20-30 seconds {until you can smell the mint}.
Add rum, stir, and pour into your favorite cocktail glass. Top with crushed ice or small cubes and club soda.
Garnish with a mint leaf and a lime slice.
ENJOY! Great with fish tacos, fried calamari, and blackened chicken.
*Make your own simple syrup with equal parts sugar and water; dissolve over heat then cool.
