As you may know, I was just gifted a new DSLR camera as an early birthday present from my wonderful Godfather {thanks Papa!}. I have always wanted to try my hand at manual photography and I finally have the equipment to do so! Yay!

Today, my mom and I did some exploring around the city and made our way to Twin Peaks and the San Francisco Botanical Garden at Golden Gate Park. I experimented with different settings and I had a lot of fun seeing what would work {and what definitely does not}.

Here are some of the photos I took today {with no editing}! It will take a lot of practice before I feel confident, but I did have a lot of fun experimenting.
