Yesterday was the first day of my week-long rotation in the post-graduate Periodontal department and it was already very exciting!
The purpose of the rotations is to get us exposed to the various dental specialties to help us decide if specializing is right for us. I must say, periodontology never seemed that exciting to me but yesterday, I was proven wrong.
I got to scrub in on a crown lengthening procedure and it was very interesting. {I won’t go into the gory details, but it was awesome.}
I think I can pull this look off.
We also received more instruments as a part of our D3 kit. It’s like Christmas for us dental students!
I’m looking forward to the rest of the week! Today there are a couple of implant surgeries planned, wee!
