WHEW! I’m back. Every once in a while I take a little social media/blogging hiatus. It’s healthy and I don’t apologize for it, but truthfully, I have missed my little blog lately. I’m SUPER excited that it’s October {woah, October already? I feel like it was just July}. This is my favorite time of year with Fall, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas! EEEEEEK!
Here is what I’m up to at the moment. :]
Decorating // for Fall! Paul took down our big holiday box this weekend and I put up our Halloween and Fall decorations. We have a small collection of little items, which is mostly what my mother sends in care packages. This year we bought a couple of new things {I ADORE my new metal pumpkin centerpiece}.
Eating // lots of fruit. I seriously have the fruit bug lately {not a bad problem to have}. I cannot get enough. Right now I’m enjoying watermelon spears from Trader Joe’s. And if you’ve never had frozen grapes, seriously go buy some and stick them in the freezer right now.
Drinking // Pumpkin Spice Rooibos tea from Trader Joe’s. It’s just the right amount of spice and warmth for this time of year.
Wearing // lip stain. I feel like I get a little washed out this time of year with the climate changing left and right. Lip stain gives me a little oomph in my daily beauty routine.
Restoring // lots of teeth. I’ve been doing quite a few fillings in clinic lately. I love working with patients and giving them healthy mouths. I’m completely in my element treating my wonderful patients.
Watching // my usual Bones, Modern Family, and Once Upon a Time, but I’m seriously obsessed with the new Sleepy Hallow, Trophy Wives, and Agents of S.H.E.I.L.D. {NERD alert}
Loving // Shea Butter Hand Cream by L'Occitane. This stuff is creamy goodness. My skin has been so dry lately and this stuff saves me, especially since I am constantly washing and drying out my hands.
I hope that you all are enjoying your October so far! What are your October traditions?
That is a picture of my little sister and me looking all cute with our pumpkin back in the day. Oh, memories.
