On Saturday, my beautiful, generous, and wonderful sister, Mariah, got engaged to her fiancé, Frankie. He is a kind and patient person and I am completely elated that they are about to embark on the next step of their relationship. I am skipping for joy!

My parents, Mariah, and Frankie went to the Aquarium of the Pacific (in Long Beach, CA) and while viewing a show in one of the tanks, a scuba diver held up a sign reading, “Mariah, will you marry me?”. This was one of the most creative proposals I have ever heard of and I am giddy that it happened to my sister. Three cheers for sappy proposals!
