Girlfriend's new obsession: shoes

Another week has passed here at headquarters and I am still in denial that this is my new normal. Emma and I enjoyed a week together - going to the park, having lunch, reading books, painting, and watching a little too much TV. It was probably one of the best weeks of my life.

We kissed Paul goodbye as he headed off to work, we greeted him warmly when he came home in the evenings. I leisurely prepared meals, wore my comfy jeans, and exhaled for the first time in four years.

While I do not know how long this will last, I am going to soak in every single minute of it.
