Life 365 | Week 1

Whew! What an eventful last couple of weeks. Paul and I arrived into SFO at 6AM this morning after a particularly rough red eye flight. I am not able to sleep on moving vehicles so I am running on very little sleep. Even though I’m exhausted, this was an incredible Christmas break and I am so grateful that I got to spend so much time with my husband and my family.

This year, one of my resolutions is to do a photo-per-day project and what do you know, my friend Brittney over at Teaberry Trails decided to start a photo link-up chronicling the year 2014. I am co-hosting this project for the month of January so don’t forget to link up your photos this year! {I will be posting photos from Sunday to Sunday each Monday.}

WEEK 1 | JANUARY 1-5

1 // Paul and I enjoyed New Year’s day with some swimming in a gorgeous cove behind our condo.

2 // During our tour of the Kauai Chocolate Farm, we tasted fresh and organic fruits grown right there!

3 // I tried this delicious macadamia nut sticky bun - clearly a local favorite because it sold out soon after the café opened.

4 // We kayaked up a river then hiked to a beautiful waterfall. We were up to our shins in mud, but it was worth it.

5 // I got my wish - I ate lots of shave ice, yum!

This week, I’m back to my normal schedule. It’s nice to be home and I’m looking forward to starting our birthing class next week!

 Have a wonderful week everyone!

It’s finally time! Week one of the Life365 Linkup!

For this project, I want capture a particular moment in each day that means something to me. I want to commemorate each day with something good, something that no matter how insignificant it may seem to others, it meant something to me.

For week one, I want to see your pictures from January 1-5, one for each day. Next week and every week thereafter, you should be able to capture a total of seven pictures, one for each day throughout the week. My hope is that by the end of the year, we can look back on these daily pictures and find that there was at least something good in each and every day.

Spread the word and grab a button! I’d love to see what means the most to everyone!

Each month, I will have a new co-host. If anyone is interested, I have openings for the remaining eleven months. Email me if interested!

This month, I have Samantha from Substance and Soul as my co-host. She is such a sweet girl and I am glad to have gotten to know her over the past few months!

I do have a few little rules that I would appreciate you abide by.
