Planner set-up: January and week 1

HELLO PLANNER PEOPLE! Raise your hand if you are obsessed with planner-ing!

Wee! It’s a new month in my Blessed Is She planner and I always have a blast setting up my monthly spreads (#planneraddict). I set up January, week one of the year, and my goals spreads before we left for our travels and I have been eager to show you how they turned out. There is something exciting about the start of a new year, especially in the planner world. I have been using an academic year planner because I was a student for so many years, but it feels like a fresh turn of the page come January first. I have been lagging on setting up my bullet journal, but I’ll get to that this week.

The Christmas Octave is a time for celebration and new beginnings and reflecting on the upcoming calendar year. I’ve started writing out my 2019 goals and resolutions and will post them tomorrow. But now for the good stuff — January, week one, and my goals spreads! WEE!

For the calendar, I went with a snowy theme. Where I live gets absolutely zero snow but I associate January with winter. The stickers I used are silvery and shiny and I just love ‘em.

What is so special about the Blessed Is She planner is the goals section for each month. I love how the goals are broken down by category and the intentions section is such a tremendous touch. Starting the month in intentional prayer is the only way to go really.

For week one of the year, I was looking forward to color palates other than reds and greens haha. But I am loving on these gold foil stickers.

I am especially excited about this goals spread I created. I used loose leaf planner paper and added it into the notes section of my planner. I just have to write in my goals and voila! I attached the planner paper with washi so I’ll be able to transfer these pages to my new planner in August.

So what do you think? Are you enjoying seeing my spreads? Anything else you’d like to know about planning? Happy new year and happy new planner!
